about

This track is a quintessential rock ballad with its building block style of layered guitars and a big bottom all to a subtle yet heavy backbeat.

lyrics

I thought that this time would be different
in fact it was worse than before.
You couldn't even try and pretend like you care
So we showed you the door.

Now you wanna call me a coward.
Now you wanna tell me I'm wrong.
You couldn't even see that its all your fault.
Even when you were here you were gone.

You keep on working for the middle.
To be as plain as you can be.
Don't get to close or you just might just realize.
You're your own worst enemy..yeh
You're your own worst enemy.

Never had a problem with your timing.
Never had a problem with your soul.
Its just a matter of interest that never quite get past.
Left you thinking you were all alone..

You keep on working for the middle.
To be as plain as you can be.
Don't get to close or you just might just realize.
You're your own worst enemy..yeh
You're your own worst enemy.
